Our work - Managing Anxiety, Stress and Burnout

You do not have to do this alone. Life can feel overwhelming, but therapy offers a space to pause, breathe, and start to understand what is really going on.

You do not have to do this alone

Life can feel overwhelming. You might be feeling constantly on edge, exhausted, or like you are running on empty. Whether it is anxiety keeping you up at night, stress from work or relationships, or a deep sense of burnout, therapy offers a space to pause, breathe, and start to understand what is really going on.

I specialise in helping people who feel stuck in these difficult cycles. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real, practical change.

What Therapy for Anxiety, Stress & Burnout Can Look Like

1. We start with where you are

Our first sessions focus on listening to your experience—what you are feeling, what has been happening in your life, and how it is affecting you day-to-day. This is not about labels or pressure—it is about making sense of what you are going through.

2. Understanding what is beneath the surface

We gently explore the roots of your stress or anxiety. Often, these feelings are tied to patterns you have learned over time—like perfectionism, people-pleasing, or never feeling "enough." By understanding the "why" behind your symptoms, you can begin to feel more in control.

3. Building tools to help you cope

I use techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to help you manage symptoms and feel more grounded in your daily life. Together, we will find strategies that actually work for you.

4. Restoring your balance and energy

Burnout recovery means learning how to listen to your needs again. Therapy can help you reconnect with what matters to you, set healthy boundaries, and create a more sustainable way of living and working.

My Approach

Collaborative – You are the expert in your life. I bring professional tools and insight, and we work as a team.

Compassionate – There is no judgement here. Just space for honesty and healing.

Flexible – I draw from different therapeutic approaches including CBT, person-centred, and psychodynamic methods, depending on what suits you best.

You are not broken. You are human.

Anxiety and burnout do not mean you have failed—they are signs you have been trying to cope for too long without enough support. Therapy is a place to feel seen and supported as you find your way back to yourself.
